I never thought we would get into an argument as ridiculous as the one we had.
What were we arguing about, you might ask? Thermostats.
We were arguing about the different kinds of thermostats, and what we should do with our own thermostat. You see, we currently have a dial thermostat in our home, and while the thermostat works just fine, I wanted to get something better. I knew there were better thermostats out there, and after a little research, I found the perfect one. The smart thermostat. The smart thermostat is way more efficient and saves you money with every HVAC bill. Not only that, but you also have the benefit of controlling the thermostat through your phone! I thought that was super cool, and couldn’t wait to take the news to my fiance. I thought he would be excited about the new nest thermostat, but instead he was horrified! He didn’t want to replace the current programmable thermostat, because he liked our old one. He told me he would feel bad if it was thrown away. Who loves their thermostat so much that they feel bad if it gets thrown away? Apparently my fiance does. We ended up getting into an argument over it, because I had already bought the new smart thermostat. I think he will eventually see that I am right, and he’ll come around soon enough. When he does I already have a heating and A/C specialist lined up to do the thermostat installation for us.
