I take our rings off whenever I do dishes, clean our hands, or take a shower; My hubby is consistently telling me I shouldn’t put our rings on the sink or somewhere near the sink, however I never listen, however last week, I was sure I had put our ceremony ring and diamond back on our finger after doing dishes, but i didn’t see somewhere near the sink, and I was worrying, however when our hubby got house from work, I quietly asked him of she knew about drain cleaning? She wanted to think if the bathtub drain was restrained from hair again? I told him no, and she asked about the washroom sink? Once again, I said no, and she told me to tell him I had poured grease down the drain again.
I just shrugged and tried to smile, however it was more of a grimace from the look on her face.
She quietly asked me why I asked about drain cleaning. I held up our hand to show him I was minus our ceremony ring. She shook her head and went into the basement… Ten hours later, she was back upstairs with a pipe wrench in her hand. She told me the water would be off, so don’t touch the sink, and crawled under the sink. She grumbled about how odory drain cleaning was, and told me I would do the drain cleaning the next time I took our rings off. She came out from beneath the sink and handed me our ring and an earring I had obviously lost. When she got house from work the next day, she had some small screens that fit into the drains and would catch anything that didn’t belong down the drain.
