We had a clear budget on how much we would spend on the smart HVAC while we were in our renovation project, but the home repair provider we contacted gave us a quotation we used to come up with the budget.
It was much lower than the one we had initially come up with because we had even included the HVAC duct upgrade cost! When the A/C professional assessed the vents, she told us they were in good condition, and all they needed was duct cleaning and possibly sealing.
It gave us more room in the budget for other things we needed since we had sealed the deal with air quality. I had to leave for work for about 3 weeks, I left the supervision task in the hands of our able partner. When I came back, there was a lot of progress, looking through everything, I observed a new air purification help. When I asked Liz about it, she told me that she did not feel the heat pump’s air purification idea would be enough, so she had to look into other air quality systems. The second she said that, I said a short prayer that the whole-home air purification machine was the only thing she had decided to go overboard with and nothing else. She noted that the A/C serviceman advised an additional gadget since she was very distraught about indoor air purification. If it was up to me, an air filter was as far as I could have gone, but all the same, it was a sufficient concern. She tends to get carried away and goes over budget occasionally. Luckily that was the only change she had made thus far.
