My dad can sometimes be a drill sergeant, but he’s not that bad, then i tend to procrastinate, so a fantastic push is consistently fantastic for my well-being.
It was dad who first told myself and others to try out for the football team at university.
I kept putting it off each season until he showed up at university one day, and the football coach summoned me, and I found my dad waiting for myself and others in his office. He waited until practice time for the coach to test my skills, and I was on the football team. During my last year of high university, dad insisted I decide on what to do after university. I was thinking of becoming a plumber, electrician, or HVAC expert. I’m not fantastic with books, so university was something that never had my attention. Dad was in the audience during my high university graduation day and later handed myself and others 3 fliers from unusual HVAC universitys. I had until the fall to decide which HVAC university I was going to, or he would choose it for me. Dad can sometimes jest, but I knew he was extreme about this. He’s an HVAC expert, and I knew he wanted myself and others to work in his company, classic me, I waited until the final weeks of summer time to tell him which university I’d chosen to attend. After getting my HVAC certification, I’d go work for his HVAC company, perhaps I might also try plumbing and electrical training later to diversify my skills. We’ll see. But I have no intention of telling dad because he’ll start pushing myself and others to do so.
