All of that money sitting in the bank does nothing to make him happier than me
I enjoy a nice breeze blowing from my air conditioner vent in my office with a soft piano playing in the background. How much nicer can life get than this? I don’t need millions of dollars to be any happier or content, in fact, having millions of dollars would just add a layer of stress to my life that I don’t need. If you offered me a million bucks right now there is nothing I would want to buy which could make me happier. I work for the local supplier about 15 hours a week and spend the rest of my time hanging out on the beach and playing music with my friends. What would a million dollars buy me that would make my life better; nothing. I just want to keep working at the A/C supplier and living the way I have been for the last 50 plus years. I made my life simpler just for the ability to have more free time to do as I please. Trying to protect millions of dollars from getting taken away would just complicate my life and take away my freedom. The owner of the A/C supplier where I work has lots of money although he works so much that I don’t see the point of it all. All of that money sitting in the bank does nothing to make him happier than me. I will just do my smart thermostat sales as I have been and keep on living the way I do till I am old and out of energy.
