Friday was a certainly busy day, but I didn’t mind finally working hard because I had the two days off work, Friday evening I was going out to lunch with my wife and her parents, but they agreed to make dinner plans later in the evening so I could join them, but my wife knows that I never finished with work until after 7 or 8 on a Friday, she was just as surprised as I was when the last job of the day was canceled and our boss let me go house 2 hours early. I actually had time to shower and shave before we made the decision to go out to lunch with her parents! We had a nice time at dinner. The conversations flowed freely and my wife’s mom and dad were certainly nice to me. In fact, they said they were certainly cheerful that I got out of work early so we could spend a little bit more time together, and at the end of lunch, my wife’s parents presented her with a check for $1,000. They told us that the money was an early Christmas present and they wanted us to use the cash to make some upgrades in our current place that were necessary. One of those replacements is in the study room. My wife wanted a window AC unit to put in the study room, so it would be more cool and comfortable in there when she is making lunch. I told her mom and dad that we were saving, but they wanted us to have the cooling system now, while the hot temperatures outside are still warm and humid.
