I have had my car for about 6 years now, and I have no intentions of replacing it anytime soon.
Especially since it is already paid off, and I don’t desire to have a car payment anytime soon.
When I purchased my car, it came with factory tints that are in compliance with the state’s regulations. The tints on the back windows are darker than the ones on the front windows. I have thought about getting darker tints for the front windows because the sun has been so hot lately, and I believe that I could use the extra protection. Well, I might have to get my window tinting done sooner than later because the factory tints are now peeling off my car windows. To be honest, I didn’t realize that car window tints peeled off in this way. I can’t remember this ever happening to any of my other cars. I do recall retinting my previous car just to have darker tints, but that was not a result of peeling, In doing some research online, I discovered that car window tints usually lasts on average of 5 years, but there are also high-quality car window tints that can last up to 10 years. I assume my car has basic factory window tinting because it would make sense for the manufacturer to use the lower end film. Since my car is 6 years old, it now makes sense why the window tints would be peeling. The good news is, I can opt for a higher quality window tinting when I finally replace it.
