I definitely need an air conditioner in my shed. I have no idea what I was thinking when I decided to build a gym in my shed. I do calisthenics, so I honestly don’t need a lot of equipment. Regular gyms cost a lot of money, and I was having a hard time arranging my schedule to be able to actually go to the gym at a specific time. To avoid both cost and time issues, I decided to build my own calisthenics gym instead of in my shed. The setup is pretty cool, and I have loved using it so far, but I can already tell that I am going to have a problem. It gets pretty hot during the summer where I live, and I know that I can’t survive without an air conditioner. I am already pretty uncomfortable while working out, and the temperatures aren’t even that warm yet. In just a few weeks, I don’t think that I am going to be able to exercise in the shed any longer without an air conditioner. I know that I could cut a hole in the wall of my shed and install a window air conditioner, but there is one major problem. My shed does not have electricity. It would be a ton of work to dig a three-foot trench from my house all the way to the shed and hook up electricity, but that would be the only way that I could install a window air conditioner. Do you think that it is worth it? I just don’t know how much longer I can survive out here without an air conditioner. After the cost of building the gym and installing the air conditioner, I realize that it might be easier to just get another gym membership.
