I was pretty disgusted when I heard about it because I still remember the site of seeing small insects crawling out of the air vents
Recently I’m not sure how it happened but I have an infestation of bugs in my heating and cooling system. I don’t know what kind of bugs they are but they’re small and black and everywhere. It only happened after we had a really bad storm. We had a hurricane come through and everyone had to leave the area because we were expected to have heavy flooding and potential loss of everything. Thankfully, the damage was not as bad as they originally predicted. My house was still standing when I returned. However I noticed that there was some water that had managed to leak into my house and I had to spend a lot of time and money to get my house repaired and into a livable state again. It wasn’t a good time. It has been several months and I thought it was all over, but then I started noticing I was getting bugs in my heating and AC system. I started to suspect that maybe not all the water was drained like I thought. I called a heating and AC specialist and asked them to come out to take a look at my HVAC system. There was no water left in the house, however the damage from the storm seemed to have ripped a small hole in the air ducts and that was allowing bugs from outside to get in and they were breeding inside of the air ducts and this is where the bugs were coming from. I was pretty disgusted when I heard about it because I still remember the site of seeing small insects crawling out of the air vents. Now I know how they got in there. I had to hire a pest control specialist to get rid of them just so I can enjoy my heating and AC system again. The hole in the air ducts was repaired and the HVAC system was mine once more.
