I just really can’t recognize what a little effort and discipline can do when it comes to saving money on HVAC costs.
We’ve been residing down here for about several years now and savor the idea of a sunny morning. I have no problem trading a pale white morning for a sunny morning because it comes with an absence of snow and ice. We also do not need a gas furnace running day and night just to keep us sizzling either, shoot, the heat pump barely even comes on because our temperatures are so mild, and but the hour that my good friend and I do need a bit of heating… The heat pump jumps to life for us. With those sunny mornings comes a trade off once my good friend and I get to about June! From June through October, this is when my good friend and I really need our heat pump; this is the sort of heat that I really never have experienced in my life. The heat is a single thing but the humidity just makes it that much more unbearable and overwhelming. So really all my good friend and I knew to do was to push the temperature system lower and add more cooling to our home. But the money my good friend and I were spending was just insane… Last year at the start of Springtime, I really decided that my good friend and I would put a well proven HVAC strategy into action. That started with an a/c tune up on the heat pump; and then after that I didn’t even kick on the a/c until mid May. But it was sticking to the temperature control discipline all summer time that really proved to be the most beneficial. We simply saved so much money over the summer time that I covered almost all of my 2tmas spending with those savings.
