I’ve heard of other people’s heating and A/C devices messing up, and then they would go and get a new HVAC installation, but I never thought that I would be one of those people for two reasons. One, the home that I bought had an air conditioning unit that was only 5 years old. In HVAC years, that is young. The average central air conditioner can go around 15 plus years. So I figured I had a lot of time left. The second reason is because of the prices, to get a new central air conditioner installed, it costs several thousands of dollars. That is something that I cannot afford, I’m honestly not sure how some people can afford that. Well unfortunately, I ended up having to get a new A/C installation much sooner than I had thought. Due to a faulty connection, the air conditioning unit became incredibly damaged. Afterwards, even though I had the A/C unit repaired several times, it was never the same. The damage had been done, and I knew I couldn’t continue to repair the air conditioning component if it was only going to break down a few months later. I made the decision to go ahead and try for HVAC installation. The local heating and A/C business seemed eager to help, and when I mentioned my price range, they told me even their cheapest heating and A/C units cost more than that. As I had feared, I wouldn’t have enough. I might have to borrow some money from relatives just to be able to afford the new A/C installation.
