My gas furnace bit the dust a few weeks ago plus I am going to buy a new one.
I was at first going to buy an electric gas furnace… However, then our heating, ventilation and A/C tech neighbor talked myself and others into buying a gas furnace as they are supposed to be more efficient.
This is also wonderful news to myself and others because our power bills have been really high plus I’ve been looking for ways to cut back on our energy usage. I also have an old school fireplace that I use now plus then however finding wood around this whole town is like finding a needle in a mountain of random haystacks. There just aren’t many local companies that sell wood in this town so it is also kind of difficult to operate a fireplace during the duration of the winter. I guess I could possibly search for a lumberjack or someone who could give the wood to myself and others although I don’t have a lot of space in our flat to keep the wood. So our best option is to get our central heating, ventilation and A/C system going plus to use the gas oil furnace as it shouldn’t cost myself and others that much. I don’t really even run the heat a lot anyway because I am also usually feeling tepid in our flat most of the time. I guess that I simply have a fast metabolism plus it keeps myself and others feeling hot most of the morning plus night. I even sleep with our window open in the Winter to cool myself and others off when I am sleeping. I don’t really guess I have ever used a space oil furnace in our dining room at night when I sleep.
