After 20 years of teaching, I decided that I no longer desire to continue in the educational system.
There are a number of reasons why I have decided to make this drastic change, but the main reason is that I have lost my passion for it.
And frankly, I am tired and don’t have the same capacity to carry on as I did when I first started. Well, after a successful career as an educator, I decided to become a freelance writer. Writing is something that I have always been passionate about and now I am heavily pursuing it. As a freelancer, I have been traveling more than I have ever before. In many ways, I could have become a Freelancer writer years ago, but I chose a different route. Teaching was safer and a more secure form of survival. But now that I am a Freelancer, I realized that this path is so much more rewarding as well as exciting. I have been traveling a lot to different parts of the country and it has been a great experience thus far. Initially, when I began traveling, I stayed in hotel rooms, but since then I have been using corporate apartments after a suggestion from one of my clients. And I am so excited that I switched from hotels to corporate apartments because the corporate housing is far more comfortable. The rentals fully furnished apartments that are like a home away from home. Additionally, the corporate apartments offer more practical amenities that most hotel rooms don’t. They include a fully stocked kitchen, extra living space, washer and dryer, and more. And most importantly, corporate housing is cheaper than hotel rooms. And as a Freelancer that works out better for me.
