My hubby and I have been married for 25 years.
- I can’t guess it has been such a long time; During these years, we’ve raised more than one fantastic kids who have now flown the coop.
Since they are no longer financially dependent on us, both of us are making some fluctuations, but for a long time, we’ve had to sacrifice to make sure our kids had the best. But, both of us now recognize it’s our time to live life and have fun. My hubby loves playing with her tools in the shed out back. This space has been falling apart for multiple years, so this year I decided to surprise him. She went away for a company trip and I hired someone to redo the tool shed. My hubby was blown away when she came back and I was cheerful to see him smile so much. The only thing remaining to make the shed perfect was adding air conditioning, then we live in a warm temperature section which gets even hotter when summer time comes knocking. My hubby would always make due with a portable AC and a fan to keep cool. However, it was time for that to change. I had gone ahead and ordered a ductless mini chop for the work shed. It took my hubby a short duration to install the ductless mini split. Her face looked love that of a kid with candy in her hands as she read the replacement manual. Once she was done hugging myself and others for the appealing surprise, she whispered that it was my turn. I can’t wait to see what she has up her sleeves.
