It took us a whole afternoon to fix the heat pump at the zoo’s administration block

We had just gotten back from a job installing a residential HVAC at a house in the suburbs, a 15-minute drive from the local business.

The customer had also wanted a zone HVAC, which we seamlessly installed.

The house was huge; some rooms received low temperatures while others were the opposite. The zone-controlled system solved the issue. We also provided the customer with a practical and easy-to-understand HVAC service plan to help keep the system running optimally. The customer was very knowledgeable about HVAC brands and the requirements to maintain their proper function. The next job was at the zoo. The heat pump at the administration block had malfunctioned the previous night. The staff could not work in the summer heat, so the zoo was closed for a few hours as the cooling technicians repaired the system. To begin with, we cleaned the system’s exterior, which was covered in dust. The unit had not been cleaned for a while, so a lot of dust had accumulated. I then delegated the HVAC maintenance task to the HVAC technicians as I supervised. They replaced the filters and the worn-out components of the system. The air filters had to be replaced as cleaning would not have removed all the gunk. We also checked the digital thermostat plus the indoor air cleaning system. The entire process took the whole afternoon. However, we managed to improve the air quality and indoor comfort significantly. The quality air conditioner was now working fine. We got a zoo tour and saw the animals after we were done, which was exciting. The zoo was opened the following day, and the staff was happy to work in a conducive, comfortable environment.
