Make sure that it’s an HVAC professional

There are so many ways that I attempt to save money when it comes to the household budget.

And It’s not easy at all. With kids now in middles school and high school, there are just so many costs. I’m just lucky to be able to go to work inside the zone controlled HVAC of the office and keep getting paid. During the pandemic, the financial squeeze was really put to us as I had to take a big pay cut in order to work from the central air conditioning at home. We had to really cut back on household costs. I zeroed in on the thermostat setting among many other measures when it came to cost cutting. We got through and I was super glad to get back to the office and inside the commercial HVAC with my full salary. That said, the near constant inflation and the kids getting back to all their activities has once again strained the budget. So I’m back to my full on cost cutting mode. When I had an issue with the heating this winter, I actually thought about going with a handyman to save money. I have a neighbor who uses this handyman all the time for HVAC service. But when I found out that he was not certified or licensed as an HVAC technician, I paused. Then, I found out that he did not guarantee his work. That was all it took for me to pick up the phone and call the HVAC professionals. Of course, the HVAC company did the work right the first time and it was completely guaranteed. Sometimes, you save money by spending a bit more for quality.
