My pet is licking my HEPA filter which is on the floor.
It is clean but she is cleaning it again anyways because she seems to adore the material it is made out of.
Maybe it feels like pet fur or something but she seems to adore doing it a lot. I cleaned the HEPA filter yesterday because my central a/c plan wasn’t putting out the normal air flow that it usually does, which is a sign that the plan is dirty. I don’t know if I have cleaned it for six month so it is no wonder that it was filled with dust. I guess next time I am going to have the heating and A/C business come out and do a maintenance job on my system, along with cleaning the HEPA filter for me. I may have to get a service plan again with them soon because they keep a great schedule when hired to maintain the system. I get a bit lazy and forget to scrub it and I recognize that it isn’t great running a dirty plan for too long because it can cause dust sensitivities and also cause the plan to run poorly and inefficiently. The heating and A/C techs scrub it on a correct basis so I don’t have to worry about it, which saves me a lot of stress with not having to guess about it. I recognize I could have my pet scrub it for me but she absolutely wouldn’t like licking a dusty HEPA filter. Yeah, awful joke, I get it. Well, have a great afternoon today!
