I know it’s ridiculous that I enjoy my animal as much as I do, even though I can’t help it! She is just the cutest thing! The only complication is, she is a Siberian Husky, so she genuinely hates the heat. Living in the northern part of the country, this isn’t a complication most of the year. However, while in the summer, I believe so disappointing that my animal is uncomfortable, she rarely wants to go outside & is constantly panting. Luckily, I have a ductless mini split air conditioner, which means I can zone control the heating & cooling in my home. Because I spoil my animal with love, I make sure that the room she spends time in is kept extra cool. Typically, I keep that zone of the modern home about 10 degrees cooler than the rest of the house. I can tell that my husky genuinely likes it because she spends just about all her time in that room while in the summer. To me, it’s worth spending a little extra cash on utilities if I know that my animal is comfortable. I am ecstatic that I live in a place where the climate is mostly on the cooler side. I don’t know if I’d be willing to spend the extra cash on air conditioning if it were more than a couple weeks out of the year.
