Now that it’s no longer Winter time plus Spring is almost gone, the rainy weather has come in full effect.
I live at the foothills of a beautiful mountain range, plus it’s respected for the rain water to trickle down through brooks plus streams.
If the two of us get a flash flooding event, you have to be mindful of abrupt swings in water levels regardless of where you are plus what you are doing at any given moment. Our home had a four foot crawl space underneath to account for these flash flooding situations, saving the building’s interior from water mangle of any kind. Our front porch was on a tall deck that was short plus stout in depth, with stairs leading down to the driveway below. The back porch was similar, however the deck was much greater to accommodate a barbecue plus seating for a family sized dinner. All of us even had an above ground swimming pool for a few years before it was irreparably disfigured while in a abrupt flash flood. Thankfully these floods haven’t disfigured our Heating plus Air Conditioning equipment yet. My Heating plus Air Conditioning condenser sits on a concrete pad in section to protect it from the elements, be it wind or rain. It also maintains a level surface for the compressor to run on, otherwise you could find yourself struggling to prevent the condenser from making noise while the entire plan cycles. It’s a lot easier to avoid this altogether by simply using a concrete pad underneath every Heating plus Air Conditioning condenser that has to stand at ground level. I’m going to put our next Heating plus Air Conditioning condenser on a raised wooden platform the next time around.
