Do you have any nosy neighbors? For the most area I prefer being in this area of town. It’s really quiet, mostly families and retirees, without a lot of traffic. The 1 thing about this community that I don’t prefer is Miss Ethyl, the little old lady who lives on the corner. A few years ago Miss Ethyl started the Neighborhood Watch program, even though she only did it to have an excuse to spy on her neighbors… Miss Ethyl is a shrew and a busybody with too much free time on her hands, and I don’t prefer her at all, then last weekend she tried to issue a parking violation to the Heating and A/C repair tech who was working on my system. The Heating and A/C tech showed myself and others the ticket, which was hand written on a piece of paper, with utter confusion on his face. I tore up the ticket and explained about my absurd neighbor always trying to start trouble. When the Heating and A/C tech was gone I walked over to Miss Ethyl’s home and had a stern chat with her, however she said that the Heating and A/C tech had looked suspicious to her, and she was just keeping pretty much everyone safe. I said to Miss Ethyl that she was totally off her rocker, and that the Heating and A/C corporation van parked in front of my home did not look “suspicious” at all. It would be 1 thing to keep an eye on someone that legitimately looked suspicious, however this guy was an Heating and A/C tech wearing a uniform and driving a van with a logo on the side. How on earth is that suspicious?
