The one thing about this community that I don’t love is Miss Ethyl, the little old lady who lives on the corner. A few years ago Miss Ethyl started the Neighborhood Watch program, even though she only did it to have an excuse to spy on her neighbors; Miss Ethyl is a shrew plus a busybody with too much free time on her hands, plus I don’t love her at all, and last weekend she tried to issue a parking violation to the Heating, Ventilation as well as A/C maintenance tech who was laboring on my system. The Heating, Ventilation as well as A/C tech showed myself and others the ticket, which was hand written on a piece of paper, with utter confusion on his face. I tore up the ticket plus explained about my crazy associate always trying to start trouble. When the Heating, Ventilation as well as A/C tech was gone I walked over to Miss Ethyl’s apartment plus had a stern chat with her. She said that the Heating, Ventilation as well as A/C tech had looked suspicious to her, plus she was just keeping all the people safe. I said to Miss Ethyl that she was totally off her rocker, plus that the Heating, Ventilation as well as A/C contractor van parked in front of my apartment did not look “suspicious” at all. It would be one thing to keep an eye on someone that entirely looked suspicious, but this guy was an Heating, Ventilation as well as A/C tech wearing a uniform plus driving a van with a logo on the side, however how on earth is that suspicious?
