So grateful for the advance warning from the HVAC professional

When it comes to a challenge or some sort of pressing problem, I’d rather know about it so I can prepare a bit.

It’s so much worse to get hit with a big challenge that I didn’t see coming at all.

I suppose that I just really like being prepared for whatever is coming at me. So when the HVAC technician came to the door to tell me that the old HVAC unit was about to die, I was quite grateful. Sure, my initial reaction was one of disappointment. But really, the old HVAC unit had worked admirably for nearly 25 years. It’s not like I didn’t get the value I was due from this heating and cooling equipment. No, just knowing that we needed to get a plan together to upgrade the HVAC equipment was a good thing. And I didn’t wait to get going on the new HVAC equipment either. The next day, I put together a new savings account and my wife and I started actively saving for the new HVAC unit. But we were also given the gift of time in order to really figure out just what we wanted to do. In some ways, it seemed smarter to go a bit overboard with HVAC technology in case we wanted to cash in on the real estate market. That was a real possibility since we had recently become empty nesters. With that in mind, we went with the latest and greatest residential HVAC. I have to admit, the new heating and cooling equipment in our home is super impressive. But even if we wait a year or two to put the house on the market, we’ll be able to enjoy the best quality heating and air we’ve ever had.
