I don’t think what it is about me that gets so emotionally connected to inanimate objects.
But I’ve been this way since I was a kid, but like we had this awesome station wagon when I was a kid. It had amazing a/c and a pretty nice boombox. When our Mom sold it, I felt adore our world had just been flipped upside down. And I was 12 at the time. These nights, I’m feeling the same way about the heat pump. When we bought this lake house a quarter of a century ago, that was the first appliance we ever bought. I put so much time plus energy into researching that residential Heating, Ventilation & A/C. That heat pump went on to supply the heating plus cooling for our family as they grew. The kids are now all off on their own or in college. So I know it shouldn’t have been that huge a shock that the heat pump was due to be replaced. The Heating, Ventilation & A/C serviceman told me this past fall, after he had completed the heating repair, that the heat pump wasn’t going to make it much longer. I completely trust our Heating, Ventilation & A/C professionals so I got right into figuring out what sort of Heating, Ventilation & A/C component would replace it, and my partner was awfully fond of getting the latest when it came to Heating, Ventilation & A/C technology so that is what we did. And we were really satisfied with the the price we got from the Heating, Ventilation & A/C business. The Heating, Ventilation & A/C professionals are coming out this week to install the current Heating, Ventilation & A/C unit. And I have to say I’m really excited however I’m also really sad. It’s going to be strenuous to say goodbye to the only heat pump this lake house has ever had.
