Just a handful of months ago, I badly cut our left hand plus severed the tendon badly.
- I was working on a HVAC ductwork repair when I was cutting the sheet metal with a pair of truly sharp shears.
A bird flew out of the rafters of the house plus scared me. When I got startled, I lost our focus plus the shears sliced right through our left hand. I had to go to the emergency room to have the hand examined. I needed surgery to help remedy the disfigurement, otherwise I would consistently endure some residual pain plus temporary loss of motor function in that hand. I felt strongly that having surgery would allow myself and others the best opening to reuse. After having the surgery, I had to take several weeks off task to heal. While I was healing, I had little use of our left hand. I could not task on Heating plus Air Conditioning repairs, so I was stuck in the office answering the telephone calls for most of the day. I scheduled appointments plus gave advice over the phone. When I returned to my regular task after the accident, I had to learn how to use our hand again. The tendons plus muscles all had to be retrained. I’m still trying to return to 100% so I can go back to Heating plus Air Conditioning repair work without any additional concerns. I still go to physical therapy 3 times a month plus I don’t have full use of our left hand. The physical therapist said it might take a couple of months, however our recovery is going quite well. I’m already showing signs that the surgery was totally plus completely successful.
