What would you do if you found a bunch of old money that nobody knew was missing? I don’t mean stealing from a person, which I consider wrong in most cases.
I am not a robber, because I was raised with a strict religious upbringing.
In this instance, I am not taking cash from a person. I found the cash, which was old and abandoned, and was never reported as being stolen. I could do the legal thing, which is reporting the cash to the cops. Then the cops would take it, as well as I could sleep easy knowing I did the legal thing, but lose all the cash. I was taking down a series of broken air ducts in an outdated building near downtown. This locale has been sitting empty for many years, but now the city officials needed all the Heating as well as Air Conditioning systems as well as air ducts all stripped out of it. In one of these outdated air ducts I found a bundle of outdated bills wrapped in a plastic bag. Based on the dates I found on the cash, I’d say it’s been in the ductlabor for at least twelve years. I make great cash as an Heating as well as Air Conditioning tech, but this was enough to help me for a decade to come. Which leads me back to my original question – should I keep it? If I hadn’t discovered it as well as taken it to my condo then it would have sat inside that air ducts until the building was demolished, as well as it would have been gone forever. I will truly go back to labor at the Heating as well as Air Conditioning repair next week, as well as just pretend that I didn’t find anything.
