My friends and I went down south last year to celebrate Spring break.
All of us joined a couple of other friends and all of us rented a big hotel suite for all of us to share.
All of us were only supposed to have various people in the room, however all of us had 10 people staying there each night. The extra people made the hotel room more affordable for all of us. I paid a larger portion of the bill so I could have 1 of the beds. My best buddy Jack paid a larger portion as well, so he could have a bed to. All of the other guys slept on the floor or on a cot. The hotel room had a separate living room from the home office and both rooms were separated by a door. In the middle of the night, I heard a different sound coming from the A/C unit in the living room. The equipment sounded appreciate it was sick. There was still freezing air coming out of the air vents. In the day, the temperature inside of the room was legitimately hot and freezing air was no longer coming out of the vents. My friends and I decided to call the hotel desk staff. All of us told them about the problem with the cooling system and they sent a maintenance specialist to check on the problem. The maintenance specialist arrived unannounced and caught all of us off guard. Everyone was in the room when the guy showed up. All of us were upset that the A/C repairman might tell the desk clerk about the number of people in our room, however the guy did not seem to be legitimately uneasy with the amount of currency all of us were paying each night. He fixed the cooling system and then left as abruptly as he arrived.
