It was our final exam before graduating high school, and we were all excited.
However, before we could wrap up high school, we needed to go through over one more pinhole, the finals! I was nervous and confident because I had done due diligence in preparing for the finals. I had studied on my own, in groups, and even with online friends. We had exams throughout the past few weeks, and I did not like the air quality within the exam room. It felt stuffy and sometimes dusty, especially in the afternoons. We had complained about this to the invigilator, but they had nothing. On the morning of our last week of exams, I saw several cooling technicians in the school. I knew them from the logo of the local business on their overalls. Finally, they would fix the indoor air cleaning system. I know about these systems because my dad works as a cooling representative for the major HVAC brands in the country. I always see work stuff lying around in the house, which is interesting to read. My dad is also proud of his job and tells me about his work day most days at dinner. I overheard the HVAC technicians at the school say the heat pump at the classes wing of the school needed HVAC maintenance as it had not been included in the last HVAC service plan. I felt smart that I understood what these terms meant. We had a quality air conditioner at home operated using a digital thermostat. Our system was a residential HVAC system that was also recently integrated into a zone HVAC to help with the uneven temperature issue. We did the first test of that day in improved indoor comfort.
