Have you ever dreamt of living in a lake house? Well, Jack and Aubrey had the same dream.
When they met, they were surprised to learn this about each other.
Most people love to visit lake houses, but not many envision living there. That was their connecting point during that first date and now 6 years on, they’re married with one kid. It took about 3 years for Jack and Aubrey to make this vision of living in a lake house a reality. Jack was the first to relocate after they bought the property. There was some work to be done to make the house livable. This included sorting out the HVAC system in the lake house. Living up north, there are fantastic areas with amazing land and lakes. But, this also means the summers are so hot and winters brutal. It’s essential to have a good HVAC system in place if you’re to survive the extreme weather. Aubrey joined Jack a year later once the house was done and he had set up the HVAC system. Jack opted to get a furnace system and AC for the lake house. These two units would work separately. This meant in winter, the AC was off and in summer the heating system was off. Life has been so much fun for them living in a lake house. The couple recently marked one year since they began their small holiday home business. They hired the same HVAC company to install the heating and cooling system for the smaller houses in the property. Aubrey still works remotely which has given them the liberty to establish their small business.
