There is something wrong with our digital thermostat and I don’t know what it is. I wish that it would just start working again, but of course, things like that don’t usually happen. Rarely do electrical devices or battery powered devices start to work again on their own once they have torn up. We have not even had our digital programmable thermostat for very long at all, so I was surprised when I noticed that it was not working correctly. The other day, I noticed that the air conditioning did not seem to be working and I thought that the air conditioning was torn up. I wasn’t really all that concerned about it since it’s the end of the summer season anyway, but I did not want to have to go through the winter thinking about it and the impending repair that we would have to pay for in the spring next year. So I was looking into it, and it turns out that it wasn’t the air conditioning system at all. The digital programmable thermostat was on the blink and we had only had it for about a year. I called up the local HVAC company that we had purchased it from and they said that it was still under warranty. Luckily for me, that was the case. All I had to do was pay for the HVAC technician to come out to the house and replace it for me. I am hoping that it was just that particular digital thermostat that was a dud. Hopefully this next one will not give us any troubles at all.
