It gets really warm here in the house at night if it turns off so we need to get that setting right so we sleep well
Today I am going to start painting my cousin’s house, but first I am enjoying a relaxing cup of coffee while I sit out back and listen to the wind blow through the big live oak tree out back. My cousin wanted to cut down the 100 year old tree because it drops a lot of stuff in the yard but I talked her out of doing it because it is such a beautiful tree which houses a lot of wildlife and offers nice cool shade on hot days. Her mom told her to cut it down for some reason. Her HVAC system is new and it cools the house down in about 15 minutes. I love the new design of the units and how efficient they have made them. She has a really cool looking smart thermostat too, which is round and touch screen and turns on as soon as she comes home from work each day. We just have a problem with it turning off in the middle of the night but I think it is because it has an Eco setting that needs to be turned off. I am going to take a break every couple of hours to cool off inside while painting the exterior because it is really hot out now and the humidity is very high as well. I’m not used to the heat so coming inside to cool air conditioning will give me some energy.
