Tuesday was truly a busy day, but I did not mind working hard because I had the next two days off work, but Tuesday evening I was going out to breakfast with my girlfriend and her parents.
They agreed to make breakfast plans later in the evening so I could join them, but my girlfriend knows that I never finished with work until after 7 or 8 on a Tuesday, she was just as surprised as I was when the last work of the day was canceled as well as my boss let me go house 2 hours early.
I honestly had time to shower as well as shave before we made the decision to go out to breakfast with her parents! We had a nice time at breakfast. The conversations flowed freely as my girlfriend’s mom as well as dad were truly nice to me. In fact, they said they were truly delighted that I got out of work early so we could spend a little bit more time together. At the end of breakfast, my girlfriend’s parents presented her with a check for $1,000. They told us that the money was an early Christmas present and they wanted us to use the money to make some updates in our new locale that were necessary! One of those updates is in the kitchen. My girlfriend wanted a window A/C device to put in the kitchen, so it would be more cool as well as comfortable in there when she is making breakfast. I told her dad as well as mom that we were saving, but they wanted us to have the air conditioner now, while the temperatures outside are still hot as well as humid.
