I honestly had no idea how crucial having clean air in our homes is.
This seemed like something that should have been obvious to me.
The polluted air was outside in industrial cities with a surplus of noxious exhaust-emitting vehicles. There was no way that the air inside my home’s central air conditioning was contaminated. I couldn’t understand how that could possibly be. I had no idea that my home’s indoor air was actually harming my health. I was completely shocked by this and had a hard time believing it. I might not have taken my doctor’s explanation of the value of good indoor air quality seriously if she hadn’t said it. It is my duty to ensure that our house has a high standard of heating and air. Even though I signed up for the HVAC service plan, I make sure to change the air filter on schedule once a month. The HVAC service plan is a program that ensures my HVAC equipment is maintained all year long and is based on HVAC maintenance. Though I didn’t really believe we needed it, I ignored the emails and coupons for ductwork cleaning. I hadn’t even given those options a thought before my doctor advised us to get our ductwork cleaned and upgrade to a HEPA filter. However, the prolonged respiratory issues I was experiencing made me aware of the significance of indoor air quality. So I called the HVAC experts to come out and clean and reseal the ductwork. I upgraded to a HEPA filter per the doctor’s instructions. Since then, my breathing has improved and I’ve felt great.
